It was interesting to see countries like Uganda, Botswana and Zimbabwe argue in support of more progressive positions, while we tended to be on the side of governments with a clear interest in regulating / controlling the Internet. By the way, post-Accra, Africa is the only region to have fully endorsed the ETNO proposals - another issue of concern...do our governments understand what they are endorsing? Why are we supporting proposals other regions have deemed fit to ignore?
