DSTV Drifta

Skunks Does anyone know whether If I use the DSTV Drifta with my Laptop that has a hdmi out I can project the signal on my TV. If so it is a plot considering that its only 450 bob a month and you get some of the Premium Sports Channels with the Premier League I can as well stop the Premium DSTV subscription and jump to that one because quite honesty thats why I have DSTV. Hello Skunks/Skunkettes, Yesterday coincidentally ran into 2good friends who have been working in different parts of the world (China and Germany) in IT. The argument was as the subject matter with regard to technology and the economy. The friend from china was of the idea if you dont know how something is done there are 2ways out either ask the "developer" or simply buy the technology then reverse engineer it after which you can develop your technology using cheaper material and have a clearer understanding of it implementation. The friend from germany was like why go to school only to steal an idea modify and call it your own? Then I pop up a question like here in kenya everything seems messed up where do we get funds to actually manufacture our own without political hoolabaloo? After a long "heated" argument a question was thrown into the works. Every one in the web industry is most likely using cpanel the rest are using other options which are not as effective as cpanel, has anyone in africa attempted to develop an application that can rival cpanel or at best run VPS services without the african/kenyan mentality of million overnight? All looked puzzled for a short while then the friend from germany was like kenyans are either lazy or are busy trying to make money off everything they can lay their hands on. Whats your thought?

As said priorly, tired of slow AK connection and lack of new products... so I want to change provider Decided to forget Zuku due to poor customer service despite cheap price I know Safaricom has also something similar but there is deposit of 3500 kshs + router at 6500 kshs and it is not cheap (6999 kshs per month) - http://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:twG71Ag_pcQJ:www.safaricom.co.ke/… So I want to try the Orange Internet Broadband, the one with D-Link router + EVDO Internet Modem + 10 GB monthly (if exceed, 0.46 kshs/MB) at 5 290 kshs per month - http://orange.co.ke/complex/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=18… Now, anyone using it ?? How is the D-Link router ?? What's the speed during and outside peak hours + location ? Thanks
