For those of you unlucky folks like me, who cannot download the Android Google Plus app in the country where you live, you can download the APK file from there!! :-) You don't even need root access to do this. Just make sure you have "Unknown Sources" allowed in Settings/Applications.. Not necessarily, You can get phones with a SIM card in the US. I have two phones, one is even AT&T branded. They both use SIM cards which am able to use when am in Kenya and when am back in the US. The phones without SIM cards are much cheaper and so thy are more popular. But if you travel in and out of the country once in a while you can go for unlocked phone options. I have attached a pic showing the branding on the phone and the SIM cards. I think to put the issue into some views, if you know, please share the data: - How many registrars are online and mpesa based? - How many registrars are not online & mpesa based, and what would be reason? - For a startup registrar in say Kitale , how would they make such a system work and offer the service to someone in Mombasa?
