Shared Services Masterplan Finalized

Listers The Kenya ICT Board would like to announce the finalization and handover of the Shared Services Masterplan for government of Kenya. Details on http://www.ict.go.ke/index.php/public-sector-shared-services The project now moves into execution phase. Indeed Ministry of Finance has already commenced the re-engineering and redeployment of the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMIS). The 6 volume masterplana documents were handed over to PS Ndemo, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Information and Communications and Sam Mwale, Principal Administrative Secretary Cabinet Office, by Accenture's Jessica Long and Victor Kyalo Director of Infrastructure and Projects Kenya ICT Board. The handover took place in the presence of a private and public sector guests at Panafaric Hotel on May 3rd 2011. The lead consultants Accenture Development Partners have worked with the Kenya ICT Board, and Egovernment Directorate for over a year on this project. The eventual aim is to create a world class government back-end system for Human Resources, Financial Management, IT Collaboration and email. Directorate of egovernment and the respective shared services agencies now move into the execution phase. One billion dollars. What does the mention of that amount do to you? For some it may be too big to process while for others the opportunity to get a piece of it or at least discover the story behind the number would be more overwhelming. To break it down, that is the estimate value in monetary terms that is held in the value chain of the COMESA trade pipeline on a daily basis in form of transit bonds. easipos version 4.7.1 password lock

Hi all A restaurant i am trying to assist uses the easipos system. the password to access the backend locked so its not possible to use the system. The guys who sold the system, prima, are not willing to assist sort the problem. they keep throwing the issue back to the sa company that originally suplies the product, who in turn throw them back to the prima guys in westi. its a whole back n forth thing that has been going on for 3 months now. so we are now trying to crack the damn password. any ideas? regards veronica

Good people, I came across this DIY tutorial (http://benstechcents.blogspot.com/2008/05/tracking-stolen-macbook.html) on tracking a stolen macbook, anyone willing to lend his/her mac for the experiment? Thinking like a dumb thief, to get the above method to work, your mac needs to NOT have a boot password, it needs to NOT have a OS password, so that the dumb thief will just open it, turn it on and just start using it, then later he/she will then connect to the internet and voila, the trap will start working. But then, it is a bad idea not to have a boot or OS password...
