@ Davis: yeah you do that.. Great idea! And tell them what? I suggest you do some research on how the system is set up and how it works before you do. Otherwise you will look like an idiot! So you really believe the trunks are blocked by safaricom intentionaly? Am sorry but that is being too gulliable and not tekie like thinking. I would not blame my grand me for thinking so, but here I would expect much more. This will take a day or so to sort out. @dennis kioko That is interest for a new venture like Naivas, by the way there prices on food commodities are lowest in comparison to the other supermarket chains. Will definitely check it out. @steve obbayi The e-commerce space in kenya is expanding a lot of business are opting to sell their products online. Just a look at some of the ads in facebook you realize that fashion is next big online product. The competition is good, more players, more choice for the consumer and of course the different payment options (mpesa, zap, pesa pal, credit cards). In an effort to boost academic references and material in the country, I will be offering a Kenya Shillings 500 cash incentive to any one who researches and expands the M-Pesa article on wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-Pesa. The initiative targets mostly university students. As such to qualify for the money, you have to log in and do the edits under your username so that we are able to verify you as the author. The recipient should bring the article to the standard of normal Wikipedia articles. As such, a majority of skunks must reasonably agree that the effort deserves the cash award. Recipients must not work for Safaricom or be related to Safaricom (or their competitors) in any way (doesn't apply to subscribers) either currently or in the past. In short, there must be reasonable degree of unbiasedness. If a guarantee of payment is required, I can deposit the money with Phares Kariuki as an Escrow. Hey guys, I would like to set up a mail server that should be quite easy to scale. I initially had Sendmail in mind but upon some digging guys out there opt for Postfix or even better QMail. I need to know which is the best MTA application to use for factors like security management, spam handling, capacity handling, server resource utilization, management etc and can you incoorperate multiple accounts on different domains? I have encountered a situation while configuring a PBX. The client has analog (prepaid) phone lines from TKL and for them to dial out they have to dial 0845 then wait to be prompted to dial the desired number. My problem stems from the fact that when this is done with digital phones, the number dialed after the 0845 does not show at all on the phone display and as such, the users at the extns have no way to redial! I have tried to configure a feature code/short code in the PBX (Avaya IP Office) to circumvent this, by, say, dial 9 with some few secs wait, but I simply can't get around it.
