Hi nerds (ain't that what we are?), Someone just sent me the message below. I am no civics expert, but isn't there a way the public can challenge the legitimacy or passing of such unrealistic laws as these? It sounds like we are living back in the days of kings like Hammurabi. Me. Kindly note that the following *Nairobi City Council by- laws* took effect from *1st July 2010:* 1. Pedestrians crossing the roads in Nairobi when traffic light is red – fine is Kshs. 10,000/= 2. Motorist moving on when the traffic light is red – fine Kshs 10,000/= 3. Pedestrians crossing the road while talking on their mobile phones – fine is Kshs. 500/= 4. Boarding at non designated PSV/matatu, bus stop - Fine 10,000/= 5. Unfastened seat belt - Fine 500/= 6. Use of mobile phone when driving Kshs10,000/= 7. Driving with worn out tyres - Fine Kshs 10,000/= 8. Double parking -Fine Kshs 20,000/=

Someone please help me on this...I want to make a user download music from my server...however this script displays gibberish stuff on the browser...how do i make it download? *Call for applications: WAIGF Web Manager* The West African Internet Governance Forum (WAIGF)project aims to facilitate Internet policy discussions on a multi-stakeholder platform for issues relating to the development and governance of Internet in West Africa. The project aims to facilitate the participation of a broad range of West African stakeholders in the IGF process, create an opportunity for West Africans to engage in/contribute towards discussions regarding spam, Internet and Security, and other IGF related issues at the global Internet Governance Forum Last but not least this project aims to create a systematic, bottom up,national, regional and global policy dialogue process in West Africa. Multiple internet connections

Rookie question: If I have wireless internet connection (via wifi), cabled internet connection and an internet connection via a, say, safcom modem, how do I tell which connection is being used by the system by default? Assume there are no restrictions in the ie connection options. I have my reasons for asking :)

Hi all, Am on assignment to develop a customised helpdesk mini-system(hosted on a localserver)....Brief description of how its supposed/expected 2 operate: -----Should be an interactive system aimed to assist non IT-staff in solving petty IT issues in an office enviroment(to avoid those loooong calls and movement of IT support staff) -----Should have its own database...preferably mysql -----Available to all intranet users....but requests posted should only be answered by IT staff(login to answer to a request) -----Should be as "simple" as possible :-( -----prefered languange php/mysql(suggestions welcome) The issue....need an excellent design ....playing around with php---the "chat" bit is a challenge! ISA 2004 Help Required - Allow Websites

[snip] I need to allow only selected websites for "Internal diaspora" (after top dogs are already allowed everything). In squid, if I wanted to allow access to google.com and any subdomains, I'd specify a dstdomain rule in an ACL. So I can do: .google.com, .yahoo.com, .gmail.com, etc. Not with ISA! Does anyone know how to achieve the same with ISA (2004 here, btw)?? If someone visits yahoo.com and it comes up with yahoo.com/something, ISA denies it.
