Curious: Assuming I have a 512kbps internet connection should I expect faster download speeds if am just surfing/downloading from within the local loop or is that also still limited to the max speeds allowable on a 512 bandwidth? -Billy

Paypal continued....

Hi, I've seen a lot of paypal discussions in this forum and thought I might ask one of my own. I've opened two paypal accounts - one with a debit card from co-op and one with a credit card from KCB. I'm supposed to receive payment into these accounts but the person sending the payment has said that both have refused simply because paypal doesn't accept one to receive money in their paypal account if you are located in Kenya. I confirmed this on this site : https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ Infact, no African country can use paypal to receive money unless you send it from your own account. Does anyone know which bank in Kenya allows one to open an offshore account in a non-African country so that it would be possible to use this facilities? Warm Regards, Eric

Hey list, did anyone venture into the potential of agoa kenya? Why do I ask, 'cause I've registered a domain called www.agoakenya.info and was surprised that it was available. ( offline at the moment ). Shall I go ahead and do something with the above or avoid replication? Rgds.
