Other responsibilities will include: * Efficiently rolling out the cluster BSS as per the business plan in terms of time, quality and cost . * Monitoring and managing the Cluster Network to ensure OPEX limits are managed and benchmarks adhered to * Transmission planning for network roll out in the Cluster. * CAPEX & OPEX budgeting and ensuring that OPEX saving targets are achieved. * To achieve Network Quality KPI’s as per organizational and regulatory benchmarks. * Compliance with the relevant Regulatory authorities * Technical Manpower planning, recruitment & development. * Preventive and curative maintenance. * Regular MIS reporting and the maintenance of relevant records The successful candidate will typically have the following competencies and qualifications: * A Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications/ Engineering with a minimum of 5-8 years experience. * Sound knowledge of GSM technology, BSS & Transmission & O&M standards. * A working knowledge and proven experience of the implementation of GSM O&M standards, performance benchmarks, ITUT standards & regulatory norms. * Previous leadership experience in mentoring and coaching a small team.
