Im running crazy with this.... Samba PDC

For my whole life, i have never had problems setting up samba as a PDC. I have installed ubuntu 9. 64bit, set up dhcp flawlessly, set up webmin and apache, mysql and php. The only problem im having issues with is joining users to the domain. Im getting a "bad user or password" error that i just cannot figure out the problem. *I can only cheer you on* and urge you to bring Real Broadband to kenyans! The rest will make their own history. Incase your marketing depts are lacking ideas on how to make much noise, here's some novice ideas : ( One month campaign - THE BROADBAND MONSTER IS HERE TODAY, RIGHT NOW! ) : - Media awareness using videos to demonstrate the old and new network age - Fly those planes, helicopters with banners. - Get interviews with clients who have made the moves and play through media, print and seminars - Create positive awareness through better services Use every resource available for marketing. Port forwarding on Ubuntu

Good morning people, I am trying to forward a port in Ubuntu 9.04 (desktop) with no luck. For example - if I want to open 36850 how would I do so? I have tried: ufw allow 36850 and sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 36850 -j ACCEPT When I run netstat -l i see: tcp 0 0 *:36850 *:* LISTEN but according to port scans the port is still closed. The router is already configured for this port. so is this port open or what? have you ever tried deleting an application, or data, from Google AppEngine?

... well, the short answer is you can't. That's right. The good folks at Google have decided you are not allowed to delete any applications you launched in AppEngine, or any data you created in the AppEngine's datastores. Sure, there are workarounds that may "work around" the problem, but they aren't solutions. Amazing that so long after AppEngine's launch you still can't do this. And with a limit of 10 free app IDs per user, you can run out of IDs real fast. Saidi
