Safcom 3G and dwindling speeds

Maybe its just me, but ever since i heard that safcom was connected to TEAMS (3/4wks i think) my browsing speeds have only gone down - DRASTICALLY!! Nowadays I operate at sub 7KBps on avg with sudden 3/5 sec spikes of about 150KBps every couple of hours or so and then back to the 5-10KBps avg. Speeds were pretty good pre-TEAMS. Anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

Nairobi City Council Confusing websites and BLOG

I heard on the news that Nairobi City Counci have launched a blog and of course i wanted to check it out the funny thing is that they have 2 websites www.nairobicity.org/ and www.nairobicity.go.ke/ and all of them claim to be official but the .org is outdated but its the one that comes 1st on a google search..and why is the updated website not having a link to thier blog i cant seem to find it anywhere

Hallo all, To the vehicle gurus... we have been having this debate after a vehicle overheated. At first we thought it was a faulty sensor, so we removed that... Then the situation got out of hand and the mechanics advised that the Thermostat was the problem, and it is common knowledge to remove the thermostat when it comes from winter countries to our good old sub-sahara.. This overheating problem occurs in rainy or cold situations - dont know why. But never when its hot, so on a level, the mechanics could be right. After removing the thermostat and reinstalling the heat sensor, the vehicle seems fine and does not overheat - however, I came across the article below on the net [who do we believe? experienced mechanics, or those who know why the thermostat was installed in the first place?] : Q: Can running without a thermostat cause overheating I was told that if the water circulates too fast it will not cool properly Is this possible and how? Running your engine without a thermostat will cause it to run hot. An engine will run cooler initially without a thermostat. After that IT WILL NOT! Why you ask? Again, physics. An engine running without the restriction of the thermostat in the system (remember, even when it's wide open there's still some restriction in the system caused by the thermostat's small opening) will not keep the coolant in the radiator long enough for the radiator to 'radiate' the heat. That is, the coolant must stay in the radiator for a certain amount of time to dissipate some of the heat it has absorbed from being in the engine block. The coolant is in the block. It's hot. It moves to the radiator and gets rid of some of the heat. If it moves through the radiator too FAST, without the restriction of the thermostat body, it won't get rid of as much heat. Hi folks, First i have to apologize for this offtopic thread!. About an hour ago i saw a technician replacing what appears to me as a screw-on ordinary domestic bulb on the traffic lights at the GPO intersection. I have to say in an time where power savings are important and durability is critical - was the cost of implementing LED based traffic lights far too expensive compared to the frequent replacement of bulbs and higher power costs?. Lets see, its a special day....... :-)))))) - Some rain creates "poor visibilty" = traffic jams - End of Month = more traffic jams. - Orange 3g+ down since 9am = more traffic jams, less work done on the internet. Possibly the core Orange tech people are being affected by the 2 points above, decide let it be fair across. Orange has maintained an excellent service on 3g+ but the end of month " dead internet " is a mystery. lol!

Ubuntu 9.04 files from XP

Haya, I have been using explore2fs but seems not to work anymore with ext3 on Ubuntu 9.04. (not sure whether its coz of the FS version or Ubuntu) Ext2IFS doesn't either. Has anyone managed to read ubuntu 9.04 files from windows? Me

Hey guys, I am looking for simulation software for the subject router. I wish to test an IOS file on a virtual router before making a purchase. Is there such a thing as that?
