Re: [ISOC_KE] isoc Digest, Vol 33, Issue 81

Elections Results This is Interesting indeed. Talk of verification. Who are voting? ISOC orion members of Internet society members? How many registers are we taking about? The one being used for voting was published. same was published, or do we have another one? What does the elections rules state? Kenyans and their skepticism [?] Of course Kenyans have to be. Experience is the best teacher. Charles On Tue, Mar 25, 2014 at 5:52 PM, <isoc-request@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

I didn't believe they can do this even with something small as the ISOC Chapter elections; or maybe someone is rehearsing for the big thing in the near future....

Members,
As you may have noticed, there has been delay in releasing election results. This has been occasioned by a challenge where we found some discrepancy in details submitted by some voters and those existing in the ISOC AMS.
As
this affects a significant number of voters, the Committee has forwarded the names to ISOC Global for further verification.
We apologise for this delay and undertake to release the results as soon as we can.
