We are particularly interested in women journalists and bloggers who focus on political reporting. We will nevertheless observe the constitutional requirement of the one third gender rule and will therefore consider a few applications from men bloggers and journalists. This training is informed by incidents of online harassment of women journalists and bloggers, and coming at a time when the Kenyan social media environment is polarized because of the approaching elections. *The Training* The training will increase participants’ knowledge in such areas as: · Identification and evaluation of risks · Response to digital security incidents · Legal and ethical environments along online expression.
