Consultations To: Internet Policy External <InternetPolicy@elists.isoc.org> Dear Members, As one of the organizations involved in the WSIS since its inception, the Internet Society is participating to the WSIS+10 process to the greatest extent possible. In particular, we intend to extend this opportunity to our members by supporting their participation to the preparatory meetings. Today, we are please to announce the ISOC policy fellows selected to participate to the upcoming WSIS+10 Consultation<http://unpan3.un.org/wsis10/>s, to be held on 19th October in New York. We were delighted by the high quality level of applications received from chapters and members around the world. After a very competitive process<http://www.internetsociety.org/support-internet-society-members-engagement-upcoming-2nd-wsis10-informal-consultations-new-york>, we were able to identify the top 3 candidates that most clearly fulfilled the outlined criteria: * Mr. Osvaldo Larancuent, Dominican Republic * Mr. Alejandro Pisanty, Mexico * Ms. Alicia Tricas, Spain We are confident that such a diverse and strong group will play a critical role in promoting ISOC's principles and positions.
