I wish to inform you that due to tasks ahead, the last Executive meeting held on March 24, agreed to constitute the following Standing Committees. - Membership - Programme - Media and Communication - Education & Research This is therefore a call for interested members who wish to volunteer to serve in the various committees listed above. Apart from the above committees, we also need to plan for the forthcoming Kenya Internet Governance Forum to be held in July and we need volunteers to begin the planning process. This is separate from the above Standing committees and a members is free to seek to be in both. Hello Charles, Colleagues Thank you for the note. I would also wish to mention that ISOC Kenya was recently registered as an At Large Structure which is equally involving. Mwendwa Kivuva and myself are the primary and alternate ALS representatives of the At Large Structure as such i will devote some time in helping to build the structure as Kivuva discharges his duties as the Chapter Secretary, to this end we will come up with a calendar of activities that will be copied to the Executive and members who are willing to be part of the At Large Structure. I will also provide input to the team that will organize the Kenya Internet Governance Forum, as co-organizers of last years Africa Internet Governance Forum we will be expected to provide substantial input that will shape the 2014 Africa Internet Governance forum.
