Happy Sunday! I hope you are well. Thank you Barrack and John for the notifications and for the list of topics. I wish to add a specific topic in addition to the Tech related areas to actively get views on : - The Economic Angles (not about just on financial cost which is what politics and media normally reduce economics to be but more on allocation of scarce resources with alternative uses still within the project) If I may borrow from the thought line that "education is not an end in itself but a means towards better livelihoods for the people", this project is a means too. Thus even as the "hardware" and "software" is cracked out, we must keep the mulika on the interventions. It would be invaluable to share in this dialogue with the forum colleagues as a starting place and for views to be extended by ISOCers at ISOC KIGF later in the year. Have a pleasant day and blessed week Regards/Wangai --- Pray God Bless. 2013Wangari circa - "Being of the Light, We are Restored Through Faith in Mind, Body and Spirit; We Manifest The Kingdom of God on Earth". ________________________________ From: John Matogo <jmatogo@strathmore.edu> To: kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke; Skunkworks Mailing List <Skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke>; isoc@lists.my.co.ke Sent: Friday, 21 June 2013, 10:11 Subject: [ISOC_KE] Stakeholder Forum to discuss the Laptop Project 4th July 2013 9 am to 5 pm Strathmore University Auditorium Dear colleagues.
