Dear listers, Welcome to the inaugural ISOC Kenya Chapter Strategic Planning Day! We are excited to have you participate at the Full Day Workshop. Date: 4 July, 2012 Venue: Kenya Forestry Research Institute headquarters, Muguga Time:07.30am - 05.30pm Capacity: 10 people Individual Fee :Budget Ksh. 1,000/ Participant Confirmation Mode: Send email to info@isoc.or.ke by Monday 02nd July 2012. A confirmation email will be sent to you 08.00am Opening Ceremony 1. ISOC KE Vision - Who We Are 2. Structure and TOR 3. Year 1 Work Plan; 4. Funding strategies & Partnership 5. ISOC KE Launch 6. AOB * Members are invited to contribute towards the basic costs required for the day to cover venue and refreshments.This contribution is considered as advancements towards ISOC KE and thus part of the member contributions towards ISOC KE membership/ registration fees as will be discussed and determined at the Strategic Planning Workshop or other ongoing contributions from time to time. Participating members are required and requested to participate for the full day inorder to provide wholesome value towards the high level deliberations of the Workshop. Kelvin, all Since we still dont have a bank account, we will use m-pesa. But I would advice members to first register by mail, then they will be giuded on how to send their contribution. We want to avoid cases of guys sending money when the slots are full. Kivuva, you can also share on what you would like to be constituted as well. I can only answer the question about using public transport.
From town get matatu number 131, behind fire station, which goes to KETRI or KARI. That should sort you out.
