This self paced learning opportunity allows you to understand in depth *Google Chrome, Google Apps, Google Search, Google Plus and Internet Safety. *Its available in English and Spanish. Telecentre.org Foundation <http://www.telecentre.org/> (TCF) is happy to announce the Google certification course, which is being offered through its Telecentre Academy <http://academy.telecentre.org/> (TCA) program. It has been well received, thanks to the support of partners in different regions. More than 3,500 users have already enrolled in the course since its launch early this year, and over 1,300 have taken the exam. Since the start of the campaign, we have had over 13,000 visits to the Telecentre Academy (TCA) online learning platform by 6,000 unique users. Ecuador, Spain and Colombia are leading these participation figures, generating over 70% of the total site traffic. We have however seen activity from many other parts of the world and hope that our networks will continue spreading the word. Offered in partnership with Google, the online course aims to increase the level of employability of telecentre users and members of the global telecentre community by expanding their digital skills and providing successful examinees with a globally recognized certificate.
