Considering that the regulators and Government through CCK, the Ministry of Information and Communications, e-government took the time to be there (every day), is it that the Forum(s) is not of value to Service Providers? The Service Providers are at present a (the) major 'governor" to internet and internet governance in Kenya. We are dealing with issues of children access, and in Kenya's current situation cyber crime, terrorism, cyber wars all driven through the internet -? a major threat to peace as we get into the election period. The Post office cannot be delivering smelly rotten eggs into your postal box and not be made? accountable for blindly receiving the courier parcel in the first place! As a stakeholders Forum, this was truly a glaring missing link. Addressing this concern will enable ISOC KE as the convener of subsequent IGFs to know how to suitably engage with Service Providers among other players. Have a pleasant day.
