As the fall semester picks up speed, it is the perfect time for your students to try their hand at critical thinking and social innovation by entering our outstanding spotlight competitions: Dell Empowering Women Challenge and Dell Education Challenge.

Students can win $65,000 (seed funding from both challenges), earn global recognition, and invaluable mentoring support.

What’s at stake?

· Every project will be automatically entered into 2014 DSIC

· About 50 semi-finalists will receive four hours of professional mentoring

· All finalists will be fast-tracked as semi-finalists in 2014 DSIC
· $35,000 in awards for Dell Empowering Women Challenge
· $30,000 in awards for Dell Education Challenge

Each competition is open to any university student, from any country, male or female, graduate or undergraduate, and in any field of study. The deadline to submit ideas is September 23, 2013.•
