Thank you Grace for your diligence and sacrifice behind the scenes in providing the final results.

Congratulations are in order Mr. Charles Oloo.

We look forward to working with you on your new mandate. All the best as you take on at the helm of the ISOC Kenya Chapter!

Albeit the challenges ahead, we hope all will work, with reference to your campaign promises, and to the expectations of the society membership and the general public at large.

Dear Members,

Following our call for voter registration, 39 members checked in. Ballots were sent to all except those whose date of registration to the Chapter was after 1st March 2014 or those who had not provided all required details (5 in number). By close of the voting period on 23rd March at 11.59 pm, we received 26 filled ballots.

In verifying the ballots, it was noted that there were 7 which had strange ISOC numbers. The committee ruled them as spoilt votes. One had an ISOC number alternating digits One had an ISOC number alternating digits (i.e ABCED instead of ABCDE) and it was found to be an honest mistake.  Of the 19 valid votes, Charles Oloo has 10 and Barrack Otieno 9.

Attached please find an analysis of the votes.

Members with any queries or objections may write to us at  isoc_ke_electioncommittee@googlegroups.com on or before the end of today.
