Dear Members,

Thank you for the passion being demonstrated by all members towards the activities of the Kenyan Chapter. For us to make any meaningfull impact using the skill and talent that is in our midst, we will require a very organised mode of operation. The current strides have been made by volunteers who have commited their time and resources, there is plenty to be done and we need more members to come forwad. We appreciate all those who have responded to various calls to take up responsibilities in speaking in various topical areas and to take charge of various roles. Before the end of the week we will publish a list of all volunteers the roles they are playing and the roles we need to filll on interim basis as we establish the organisations structures. As we move forwad let us also appreciate the diversity of viewpoints in our midst and mentor each other to become the best that we can be. Finally several members have been sending in their contributions on how they would like to see the Chapter run and the activities they would like to engage in , we encourage you to post this to info@isoc.or.ke so that we can sysnthesise everything and establish a workplan. Please note that we will be championing ISOCs global course locally, i therefore urge all members to visit www.isoc.org and familiarise with the Internet Society, for the new members, ensure that you are a global member as well.
