Dear All, I value the input on elections; more importantly the team explained the reasons for delay of the process. As i put out earlier that dispute resolution mechanism need to put out so that there is no conflict over results. Kindly help clarify the time schedule needed for confirmation of the anomalies regarding voting so that this can be addressed. thanks On Wed, Mar 26, 2014 at 9:20 AM, Daniel Otieno Omondi <dottocomp@yahoo.com>wrote:

Not sure what the challenges are - but you need to resolve them quickly and transparently. African elections and Kenyan ones in particular are very sensitive to delayed results.

Elections in Kenya the Kenyan style!
I didn't believe they can do this even with something small as the ISOC Chapter elections; or maybe someone is rehearsing for the big thing in the near future....

Members,
As you may have noticed, there has been delay in releasing election results.
This has been occasioned by a challenge where we found some discrepancy in details submitted by some voters and those existing in the ISOC AMS. As this affects a significant number of voters, the Committee has forwarded the names to ISOC Global for further verification.
We apologise for this delay and undertake to release the results as soon as we can.
