Dear all, One of the core components that will scale ISOC_KE to greater heights is research since it will serve in positioning the organization as an authority in internet matters locally. Furthermore, research will play a major role in maintaining the organization's relevance in this dynamic field. Some of us have so far suggested some emerging issues which include: - IPV6 (adoption patterns in Kenya, awareness....) - Cloud computing ( legal/ethical issues surrounding cloud computing in Kenya,...) - Local content (ways in which local content can be protected,.....) Kindly mull over the above research topics as we await registration... it is my hope that research will draw interest among the membership as it has a lot of potential for the organization .
