The African Union adopted the Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection Convention (AUCyC) in June 2014 seeking to harmonize the various laws in respective African Countries for enhanced cooperation in cyberspace. As Kenya embarks on the ratification process and given the wide scope of the Convention, it is critical that as many actors as possible be involved to bring in diverse perspectives on the Convention.
