IGF7 Call for Workshop proposals - Open Government Data
Hello Daniel

I hope you have been keeping well.

The Internet Governance Forum Secretariat published last week the call for workshop proposals for the IGF7 event that will be held in November 2012 in Baku.  The closing date for proposals is stated as the 12 April 2012.   http://www.intgovforum.org/cms/w2012

The purpose of this email is to ask you whether you or others in Kenya will be participating in IGF7 and whether it would be beneficial to organise a workshop related to Open Government Data as at IGF3, IGF5 and IGF6.

The Open Meeting and the following MAG Meeting held in Geneva during February 2012 re-confirmed the selection criteria for workshops and the proposed Theme for IGF7 and proposed one or two new criteria that workshop proposals need to meet.

Time is rather short for submitting a workshop proposal so I am just making contact with all that participated in the IGF6 workshop 123 in Nairobi or remotely to see the level of interest.

I look forward to hearing from you on the above.

Regards

Chris
