Dear all,

As we work on our formal Chapter application, please note that our focus will be on Capacity building, Paul Muchene (ISOC ambassador) and Phares Kariuki are going to formulate a program on IPv6 training, this will be our core business this year and we will work alongside other stakeholders and partners. As agreed in our last meeting our goal will be to provide a support mechanism to existing stakeholders and players in the Internet space in Kenya, in addition we are going to play a key role as catalysts in building the future of the Internet in  Kenya. All members and stakeholders are welcome on board since your involvement will be key in achieving ISOC Kenya's goals. With regard to the chapter formation process you might also want to have a look at the Chapter Handbook (available at http://www.isoc.org/isoc/chapters/guidelines/) as well as the draft Chapter Guide (attached). These documents will give you some insights and practical suggestions about the creation and management of a successful Chapter. The documents were sent by Christine.

Best regards,
