BBC Media Action is looking to recruit a Web Editor who will manage the online presence of the outreach and communications component of the Kenya debate programme ‘Sema Kenya’ http://www.bbc.co.uk/swahili/kwa_kina/semakenya.shtml.  The consultant will be responsible for the development and management of a webpage (linked to existing BBC Websites) and social media platforms and the creation and publication of programme related content in various formats to these channels.  The consultant will also be responsible for monitoring editorial content and providing analysis of user statistics.  The consultant will have excellent editorial judgement and writing skills, experience of the latest web platforms and technologies (including social media platforms and monitoring systems), web development skills and digital expertise in multimedia production.
