By Simnikiwe MzekandabaEast African nation Rwanda was ranked the top nation among developing countries with affordable internet by the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI).Speaking at the release of the Affordability Report in Barcelona, Spain Sonia Jorge, executive director of the Alliance for Affordable Internet said that "we are still far from achieving the global target of cheaper internet".According to Jorge 2 billion people live on less than $2 per day and none can afford internet today.The Affordability Report is released annually and looks at the state of broadband policy across 51 developing and emerging economies, and presents a country index which ranks the countries.READ MORE
