Subject: FW: Home Nursing Training for Victims Westgate Tragedy

Having a patient newly discharged from hospital? Register today for free home nursing training at St John House, off parliament road. Priority will be given to those caring for Westgate tragedy victims and deadline for registration is Friday 4th October. You can also call 0721 611 555 to enroll.
The ongoing class which started on Tuesday 1st October will end this Thursday to pave way for a new session next week.
Some of the skills to learn during the three day training include caring for wounds, giving medicines, helping a patient to overcome disabilities, comforting a patient, dealing with excretions, keeping a patient clean, maintaining body temperature, and dressing among others.
This is part of the continuous support by St John Ambulance to complement the ongoing hospital care and accelerate recovery for victims of Westgate attack.
