I agree and disagree with some of your points.
The election team announce the dates and procedures well in advance. there was no complain or comment.

I dont think the Internet challenge is an excuse, especially after the vote, where voting is just done by email. There were no reports of lack of connectivity, before and during the voting. Why is the issue now being raised after voting time has elapsed

there was no issue of quorum. Voting is not an AGM. I wonder where this notion is coming from. Nonetheless, although we had about 500 members in the list, only a few have been active all along. even during monthly meetings, we have never surpassed a great number or quorum, yet resolutions had been passed.

The Elections team published a voters list and rules before election, and we all expect them to also abide by them, for the process to seen to be free and fair.

Dear Members,
Probably the elections committee can explain the challenges they
faced. Electronic Internet voting is not an easy thing in this part of
the world were Internet itself is a challenge. It's great the chapter
set the precedence in electronic voting.
We saw some members requesting for more time to vote since they only
have access to internet during weekdays, yet the voting was done on
the weekend. I would also like them to divulge how many people voted,
and if those numbers constituted any quorum. In all AGMs, there is
usually a set number of members that constitute quorum for any
elections. I'm expecting maybe of the 500 members, a third voted, that
is about 150 members. It's only logical that a certain threshold has
to be met for the election to be valid, and represent the interest and
wish of the majority of members. It would be nice if the election team
discussed and divulged those challenges, and clarify members concerns.

All the same, Kudos to the elections committee. I'm confident they
will do the right thing.

Congratulation to Grace and the team. I think internet voting is still a challenge in
this part of the world. I got lost in the process . I support the idea
that the committee could tell us the percentage of people who made to
vote and if members are in agreement then we could make a way forward
for this great organization. This process is making ISOC Kenya a
stronger and better organization that will have structures to lobby and
advocate on internet issues in the country.
Guys lets allow the people we gave the manded to mange the process give a forward for the good of all
