Dear all,

Thanks to all of you for discussing the candidates for the current Internet Society Board of Trustees elections.

However, since the Kenya Chapter has only just been chartered, it is unfortunately not eligible for voting in this round. The voting policies and procedures state that "A Chapter may participate in the election process if they are in good standing as of the preceding December 31."

See more details on: http://www.internetsociety.org/who-we-are/board-trustees/policies-and-procedures/selection

The Kenya Chapter will however be eligible to vote in the next round. In order to do so, the Chapter should identify their Election Representative (Voting Delegate), who will act as their spokesperson with respect to all election actions. This is one of the Chapter officer roles that can be attributed via the Chapter Portal (AMS) by the Chapter's AMS Administrator.

Please don't hesitate to contact us at <chapter-suppor@isoc.org> if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Christine
