Dear Members,
The 8th Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will be held in Bali, Indonesia, from 22 to 25 October 2013, and will focus on “Building Bridges - Enhancing Multistakeholder Cooperation for Growth and Sustainable Development”.
The ambitious objective of the Bali meeting is to build bridges and strengthen the cooperation between and among various stakeholders, allowing a constructive multistakeholder dialogue. However, this dialogue is not supposed to be an end in itself, but a means toward making the best possible use of the Internet as a tool for fostering economic growth and open sustainable development.
The Internet Society is highly involved and contributes to the success of the IGF. For you convenience, you will find attached an "ISOC@IGF 2013 Rough Guide" that provides further information on our activities.
ISOC’s Membership and Services team will also be reaching out to you shortly to hear more about your plans for Bali. More to follow soon!
