Today is an exciting day and we have lots of big news for you!
The partnership between USTTI and Florida State College of Jacksonville (FSCJ) has created the new interactive training community, USTTI 2.0. This new online approach to training has been well received within the international community.
FREE ACCESS TO ONLINE TRAINING COURSE
We’re excited to tell you that we’ve made the first module of the
“Cybersecurity Awareness and Capacity Building” course
FREE!
Now that the first module is free, you can go through the first module, view the course content and participate in the interactive discussion questions.
If you have not already done so, please go to
ustti2.org. Create an account and set up your username and password on the site. Once that has been completed, you will be able to take the first module of the course. On the main page there’s a section called
“Free Course Preview.” Once you’ve set up your account, click that link to work on the first module!
CHANGING THE COST
After the launch of USTTI 2.0 in November 2011, we got amazing feedback from you, the community.
One of the most important pieces of information we heard is that the original cost of 100 USD for the
“Cybersecurity Awareness and Capacity Building” course was simply too expensive.
We listened to you and we’ve made substantial changes to hopefully make the course more accessible.
We’re happy to announce that the administrative cost of the entire course is now
50 USD! We cut the administrative cost in half to make the valuable online content available to more women and men within the community.
WESTERN UNION
If you’re interested in taking the Cybersecurity course there are a few options available for paying the administrative course fee of 50 USD. You can either pay via PayPal on
www.ustti2.org or by bank transfer.
Unfortunately, we are still working out issues with the USTTI Western Union account. We will notify you as soon as the account is finalized and ready to receive payments.
