Commonwealth government ministers and industry leaders will be meeting at the Commonwealth Cybersecurity Forum 2014 on 5 - 6 March 2014 in London to discuss the practical steps required in the implementation of national cybersecurity frameworks. This event will be held immediately after the Commonwealth ICT Ministers Forum to take place on 3 - 4 March 2014 in London on the adoption of a Commonwealth Cybergovernance Model.
The Commonwealth Cybersecurity Forum 2014 is your opportunity to gauge Commonwealth policymakers’ resolve to address cyberthreats, help shape their approach to cybersecurity, or simply learn from what they are doing to increase safety in their national cyberspace.
This event will bring together participants from Commonwealth countries and beyond to discuss how to:
- develop national plans for Critical Information Infrastructure Protection
- ensure the protection of intellectual property online
- achieve the balance between privacy and security
- implement Computer Emergency Response Teams, and
- apply Commonwealth Cybergovernance Principles.
