Dear Listers,

The IEEE-WORLD FORUM ON INTERNET OF THINGS 2016 is looking to establish the Africa IoTs WG.

If you are interested in being a part of the Africa IoTs working group, please send your expression of interest to Chris Uwase Africa Chair (Publicity & Communications) uwajenet at gmail.com


The scope of the Africa IoTs WG is as follows;

AGENDA
The proposed Agenda of the Work Group who will communicate and work online is as follows:

TASK
Group will engage online, create and codify a Framework that will ensure that Africa participates and effectively contributes to the World Forum on IoTs by;

1. Propagating the -IEEE-IoT World Forum /Conference - including circulation of CFP and Press Releases,

2. Engage egg heads in Academia, Captains of Industry and Gov Policy Makers & Leadership on IoTs - to produce and submit Research Papers on IoTs and participate and/or delegate representation to IoTs sessions and workshop - ensuring that Africa's Technology needs are registered.

3. Organize Country Roundtable when/where Applicable.

4. Prepare Report on Africa Roadmap for IoTs - with emphasis on recommendation for Africa's needs on;
 e-Government Leadership, Research & Innovation, Digital Economy, Education, Broadband, IP, Country Internet Exchange Gateway and National Security/Others

5. Make effort to attend the conference.
