Dear Members, At our members meeting held today at Pete's restaurant Bishop Magua Centre on Ngong road it was resolved that an elections committee be constituted to manage the forthcoming Chapter elections and annual general meeting. The terms of reference of the committee will be as follows: 1. To establish guidelines in accordance with the Societies act and Chapter bylaws within which the elections will be conducted. 2. To examine the membership register and determine members who are eligible to vie for office as well as participate in the elections as per the Society by Laws. 3. To issue a call for nominations and publish the list of nominees for various positions as per the Society by laws. 4. To establish a date suitable for the elections and annual general meeting and announce the same as per the Chapter bylaws and Societies act. 5. To conduct the elections using appropriate means and publish the results on local and International lists . We are pleased to announce that the following members volunteered and have been subsequently appointed by the Executive Committee to serve on the elections committee: 1. Ms Grace Bomu Chairperson 2.
